Katrina Ramage
Katrina Ramage is a political strategist and complex stakeholder engagement specialist with over 24 years’ experience in international corporate investment, governmental, political and global community partnerships and campaigns. She has served three UK Prime Ministers in a variety of senior government roles in London and is currently Global Ambassador for World Values Day where she leads on advising the G20 on introducing value-driven policy during geo-political unrest and the global cost-of-living crisis. She has also founded or strategically supported a variety of ethical community enterprises globally.
Since landing in New Zealand in 2017, she has decided to use her skills and insights to help create and support positive, community driven campaigns. Her Making Rail Work report, which focusses on the benefits of rail in New Zealand’s Golden Triangle (Auckland-Hamilton-Tauranga), was published in May 2022 after extensive community engagement and global research. Following its publication, Making Rail Work has grown into a community movement, which is focused on helping policy makers and political decision makers understand the benefits of having rail as the foundation to attracting new money to New Zealand at the same time as ensuring ownership of all decision making and capital assets are retained by real Kiwis. |
